Y Series Specs Overview
As we open up the Y Series panel, the specs show the quality and performance you expect from Firefly LED.
The Y Series is available in a wide range of pixel pitches — from a 0.9mm fine pitch to 2.5mm, offering detailed image quality for close-range viewing. Each panel is equipped with either Flip-Chip or SMD1010 LED technology, depending on the pitch, ensuring strong performance across brightness and clarity.
Despite its flexible nature, the Y Series maintains impressive technical specs:
- Brightness ranges from up to 1000 nits (at 0.9mm) to 800 nits (at 2.5mm), making it ideal for most indoor environments.
- It delivers a 3840Hz refresh rate for smooth playback and flicker-free visuals, even under broadcast lighting.
- A 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 16-bit grayscale provide deep blacks and rich color depth for high-fidelity content.
From a power perspective, the panels are extremely efficient, consuming an average of 8–11 watts and peaking at 25–38 watts, depending on the pitch of choice. Operating comfortably in temperatures between 32°F to 104°F, and with IP54 ingress protection, the Y Series is built for long-term performance in controlled indoor spaces. Every panel is accessed from the front, allowing for easy servicing, and compatible with standard 110–220V power.
