What are Sending Controllers?
Unsure what an LED sending controller is used for? An LED sending controller is an electronic device used to process and send content to your LED video wall. They contain the various inputs, from HDMI, DVI to USB, where you control the display and its content.
Firefly LED uses only the highest quality sending controllers, to ensure that every display looks and performs at the highest quality, with ease of use and compatibility.
Types of Sending Controllers
The sending controllers that Firefly LED utilizes for all of our LED video wall and displays are provided by the Colorlight brand. A proven product in the industry, these sending controllers can support 4k, Windows or Mac compatibility, advanced calibration, and more. Colorlight X20
- Input connectors: 1×DP 1.4, 1×HDMI2.0, 2×HDMI1.4, 2×DVI
- Loading capacity: 13 million pixels, maximum width: 16384 pixels, or maximum height: 8192 pixels
- Input resolution: up to 4096×2160@60Hz, supporting customized setting
- Output connectors: 20× Gigabit Ethernet port, 2×10G optical fiber port
- Support video source switching, cropping, splicing and scaling
- Support up to 6 windows, of which the location and size can be freely adjusted
- Separate audio input and output
- HDCP compliant
- Brightness and color temperature adjustment

Colorlight X4
- Video input ports including SDI×1, HDMI×1, DVI×1, VGA×1, CVBS×1
- Supports input resolution up to 1920×1200@60Hz
- Loading capacity: 2.6 million pixels; Maximum Width: 4096 pixels; Maximum height: 2560 pixels
- Supports arbitrary switching of video input, and the image can be zoomed freely
- Dual USB2.0 for high speed configuration and easy cascading
- Supports splicing and cascading among several controllers with synchronization strictly
- Supports brightness and chromaticity adjustment
- Supports improved gray-scale at low brightness
- Supports HDCP1.4

Colorlight Z4
- Video input ports including 1×HDMI(with loop), 1×DVI(with loop), 2×SDI, 1×DP;
- Input resolution up to 1920×1200@60Hz;
- The input images can be scaled according to the screen resolution;
- Supports PIP function, the location and size can be adjusted freely;
- Supports 10bit HD video source;
- Loading capacity: 2.3 million pixels; Maximum Width: 4096 pixels, Maximum Height: 4096 pixels;
- Supports splicing and cascading among several controllers with synchronization strictly;
- Supports brightness and chromaticity adjustment, color gamut transformation;
