Recently, Firefly LED had the honor of working with Highland Prep out of Surprise, Arizona to install a new LED video wall on campus.
The LED display was installed in their newly developed 10,000 square foot Fab Lab, a new space to support the school’s focus on engineering and STEM programs. The LED video wall was created in addition to other various cutting-edge technology in tools, helping to create an immersive environment for the students to learn and invent.
Firefly LED wanted to create an LED display that would help enhance the space, and add to the learning experience. Being located inside the Fab Lab, we used our signature B Series panel at 2.5mm pixel pitch, which allowed for an economical solution that still produces an amazing picture that isn’t viewed in close proximity. Plus, since it was a simple rectangular shape with a wall mount, and didn’t require any special configurations or shapes, the B Series was the perfect fit.
Coming in at nearly 16 feet wide by 9.5 feet tall, this LED video wall is definitely larger than life and will make a great impact in this new space. It features an IP65 protection front and back, so it’s patented armor coating will keep it safe and secure from any possible elements.

We had the pleasure of partnering with Advanced Mounting & Design out of Anaheim, CA to help mount and install our product in the Fab Lab. Located just above a stairwell, it created a slightly challenging approach to install, however with AMD, it was completed with ease.
